Club policy for Guest Seats on the coach outings.

Previously (prior to the COVID pandemic) the Rambling club had the facility for non club members to book seats on the coach trips for up to 2 outings,  before signing up to be a full member of the club. Non members could book onto the trips, for the cost of a standard seat, plus a £2 guest fee. 

Post COVID, when the coach trips were able to start back up again, the committee decided to drop this idea, as, at the time we were booking only the one coach, due to numbers coming out, and space was limited.

In recent times, we have returned to two coaches for each trip, but on some destinations, we have been making a loss on the outing. To try and remedy this issue, it has been decided that guest seats are to be brought back, but under certain circumstances. The first chances of booking on the trip are for current members of the club. Seats may be booked from 2 weeks before the actual walk. This gives current members first refusal, as it were, to the club outings. 

Once it gets to a week prior to the trip date, guests will be allowed to book onto the coach, assuming there are free spaces.

The charges for guests will be £22.00 per seat.
