Welcome to St Helens and District Rambling Club

We are a friendly walking club based in St Helens, welcoming walkers of all ages and abilities. Please see the about our club link via menu at the top of the screen for more information. We have a flickr SHDRC group and a facebook presence - Please see our links page HERE.

Sunday Walks

There are a wide range of walks on each of our Sunday coach outings – please see the walking grades page for guidelines – they vary from gentle C walks to strenuous A walks. At minimum you need to be able to walk 6 to 7 miles, and cope with sometimes high and awkward stiles and rough ground underfoot – if this sounds too big a first step please try out the Friday evening walks that are organised in summer.

The cost of a coach based Sunday outing is fixed at £17.00
